Mark Kidel has been making award-winning documentaries, mainly about music and the arts, for several decades. Recent films include feature doc about Cary Grant (Becoming Cary Grant, Official Selection Cannes) and Elvis Costello, and a film essay about Englishness with the writer Martin Amis. He is currently developing HIGH, an ambitious series about popular series and drugs, a film about the 40 year-long romantic and artistic relation between Alberto Giacometti and British painter Isabel Rawsthorne, and a number of other films about musicians and artists.
